An awful lot of spiders I might add! Well Killing Time is officially 3 of 7 bosses down in Firelands!
Since we began our boss attempts in Firelands, we've come to the same boss week after week, successfully learning the mechanics, but being a tad light on DPS. Beth'tilac, the spider boss in Firelands is actually quite an easy boss to counter, but can be very overwhelming. We've tried a few mechanics for this fight as far as DPS assignments. We've done 1-2 DPS up top with Beth, we've gone with everyone DPSing the spiderlings and back to the drone. Our most successful strategy was 2 people on spiderling adds (hunter, shadow priest) and the rest on drones and spinners. This worked extremely well, and with this in place Beth'tilac went down, and as usual, we looked super pretty doing it.
The next boss we downed was Lord Rhyolith, and honestly this fight is extremely fun! The fight consists of a mechanic where you have to have dedicated DPS, preferably burst DPS, hitting the bosses left or right leg, this turns the boss, depending on which leg you are all hitting. The goal for this is to run the boss through active volcanoes, which spawn through out the area, decreasing a stack of armor which gives the boss a buff that decreased damage taken, each volcano takes the stack down 10%. The adds that spawn through this encounter proved extremely easy to deal with. With a few attempts in on this guy, Lord Rhyolith went down, knee caps and all. You should check out how nice we look.
Excellent job Killing Time! Four bosses left in Firelands! See Killing Time killing bosses below!

Or is it a big stick? Oh well, CHO'GALL IS DEAD! Killing Time is 10 of 12 bosses down on our way through progression. Before we get to that kill, if you had not noticed, we were 8 of 12 last week. On Tuesday 6/7, Killing Time went 9/12, Chimaeron went down. We had two unsuccessful weeks of trying to kill Chimaeron, give it we did not have much time to kill him (or is it a her?). Most of the deaths were due to the tough job of keeping everyone at 10,000 health. Conserving mana pools as to not go OOM for this extremely heal intensive fight was a difficult challenge, but none the less, our healers pulled through, Killing Time came out triumphant, Chimaeron was dead.
Thursday came, our plan was to burn the Bastion of Twilight to the ground, and that we damn well did. KT is getting extremely efficient in our ability to one or two shot a boss, and when we do wipe, our turn around time is excellent. We had a successful couple of attempts at Cho'Gall last week, getting him to 13% before calling the raid. Well we came in tonight with high expectations, and a strong will to kill Cho'Gall. We had our wipes, but they were not at all terrible wipes, most of them were pushing Cho'Gall into phase two. The adds that spawn from the dead corpses posed no problem. Having two priests in our raid with lightwell was a huge benefit to the raid, allowing our healers to conserve some mana. With one death Cho'Gall was successfully dead, and with that, our first raid dungeon was completed! Killing Time is 10 of 12 bosses on our way through progression. GREAT JOB KILLING TIME! You may want to have a seat before you take a gander at the glory that is Killing Time..Killing Time.

That is basically the story of tonight's progression through Bastion of Twilight. Killing Time is making good time with progression, a speed bump here and there, but overall we've been learning and executing..literally. Tonight we figured Bastion of Twilight would be our venue of progression. So far we were 2/4, with Halfus and Valiona & Theralion on lock down, we were at the Ascendant Council with in an hour. We left this fight last week hurting, not having much time to attempt this fight, with the three phases it offers. We came in to this fight already knowing the mechanics, knowing when to switch bosses, getting the water bombs cleared from us, making sure we got in the tornado and grounding field when they spawned, that was all well and dandy. Phase three was the phase we seemed to have the most difficulty on. Kiting..check, spread out so lightning did not wipe the raid..check, dodge fire bombs..check, catching people when they fell from gravity lift? Err..well that seemed to hurt us most. We none the less triumphed after a few attempts, and as usual, looking sexy..as you see below.
Killing Time is 8 of 12 bosses down in our progression. Great work everyone!

Hey all!
It's Memorial Day this weekend, KT does not expect much activity this weekend, most of us will be pigging out, or doing whatever it is you do! We will try for a Killing Time PVP Extravaganza for those that are on, we will try to get some of the guild challenges for PVP completed. Just want to wish you all a happy and safe Memorial Day!

That's basically what the Conclave of Wind fight is. We began the night with taking down Valiona and Theralion, we took about three attempts on this, and downed them. Afterwards Killing Time took into the skies of Uldum to the Throne of the Four Winds. This has to be one of the most fun fights we have done yet, consisting of three bosses spread out through the area, accessible by wind platforms that shoot you across from one boss to another. The night started out a bit slow, down a healer and one dps, we ended picking up an excellent healer 'Annonimus' and DPS 'Parabole' from the guild 'Make It Dead'. We eventually got the raid together, and started the encounter. The mechanics for this fight are quite easy, the hardest was keeping the ranged on the platform with Rohash, just a slight set back, once that mechanic was taken care of, let us just call it..cake. After about four attempts, we took them down, and looked damned pretty doing it.
Our next encounter was Al'akir, this boss has some of the hardest mechanics to master. We wiped several times just in phase one, trying to keep an eye on 'Squall Line' and not getting knocked off the platform by 'Wind Burst'. We decided to call it a night right there. We are determined, we will get this kill with our next attempt. In the mean time, take a gander below, we are pretty damned sexy. Killing Time is 7/12. Great job everyone!

Another great night of progression for Killing Time. We started in BWD tonight, taking two attempts to kill Magmaw and the Omnotron Defense System, smooth kills, some minor flaws, but hey give us a break..it's week two of progression. After those two, the fun was kicked into high gear.
We went on to Maloriak, a fairly simple fight with a fight based on good timed interrupts and spell steals, kiting and massive AOE. We wiped on Maloriak about three times, getting a hang of the mechanics. We eventually got him down, his failed experiments have come to an end..or have they?
Our next new boss was Atramedes, the blind dragon, a failed creation of Maloriak. This is a very interesting encounter, and extremely fun once you learn the mechanics. This fight is based on sound, each person given a meter in the beginning of the fight showing you how much sound you are emitting. Miff was in charge of gongs, silencing the boss when he casts his searing flames ability. This fight took about three attempts, the most deaths coming from searing flames not being interrupted. After a few attempts, Killing Time was officially 6/12.
Progression is going extremely smooth, we have an excellent group of players. We are very proud to have Seldaris/Saldaris from the guild 'Make It So' and Killabeez from 'Effective' helping us along the way, explaining the strats, calling things out, and being very patient with us. Killing Time thanks you both!
And with out further adieu, proof that Killing Time does WORK!
..Oh yeah and we one shot Halfus Wyrmbreaker just for giggles.

Another wonderful night for Killing Time, we downed two bosses in the Bastion of Twilight, Halfus Wyrmbreaker and Valiona and Theralion. First off we tried Halfus Wyrmbreaker, we got the Nether Scion and Slate Dragon combo. We decided to let the Nether Scion up and keep the Slate Dragon chained. It was a normal couple of attempts, getting the mechanics down, staying out of fire, downing the little whelplings. After some time, we downed Halfus with all of the raid alive. Miff was a happy camper when Malevolance dropped. Next boss was Valiona and Theralion, this fight proved rather annoying. We had some mishaps with the "Blackout" ability killing the raid before everyone was grouped up, and also the "Twilight Meteorite" killing raid members. After several attempts, one which we got the boss to about 1% and wiped, we eventually proved that we were capable of working together and killing them. Again with help from Seldaras and Killabeez, we furthered our progression. We are now currently 4/12 bosses. Good job Killing Time! Check out our victory pose!

And with that, we took a dump on their face. Killing Time downed their first two bosses on their way through progression. It has been months in the making, tireless hours of running heroics, fishing, cooking, and in the end it payed off. Before we get to the the story, Killing Time wants to put a spotlight on who made this happen. You know him as Sagemage, one of his many alts, Sage being his main. Sage has tirelessly worked to create us feasts, enchanted our gear, and offered to be in any heroics, with out his help we would be at a disadvantage. Sage is not the only one who has pulled us through. Vithia and Basset always offering to be heals for any heroics, Vithia with his priest and his alt Mailynn tanking. Vithia, has a huge array of enchants, most that other people do not have, Basset with his alchemy, making us tons of flasks. Miff and Marcelles (Misato) offering to run heroics and do anything needed to help the guild out. Last but not least, our fearless leader, Elder Gnost, who has set all of this up, assigning roles, recruiting new players, and explaining the fights. Killing time is an excellent community, we do have our fights, our arguments, but in the end when it comes to doing things, we get things done, and tonight was a prime example.
Tonight we downed two bosses, Magmaw and the Omnotron Defense System. With the help of some tactics from Seldaras of the guild 'Make It So', after a few wipes, we took down Magmaw. We had to pug one or two people, but we ended up taking in an excellent part of our family, KillaBeez, a Death Knight from the guild 'Effective'. We even gained an achievement, no raid members were hit by the parasites during the encounter. Goub brought in his tank alt 'Aoede' a paladin that was recently transferred to Korgath and faction changed, so next time you see Goub or Aoede on, thank him for that contribution. In a nutshell, we wiped a few times on both boss encounters, but in the end we downed them both, with all guild members alive and well. With that, I present you with screenshots below (both taken by Gnost, sorry for his back being to the camera..NOOB).
Two down, ten to go, good job Killing Time!
